So this is an easy do it yourself kinda' deal, right? Also, should I get new
bearings or just re-use the old ones?

There is a bearing packer tool you can buy, it basically compresses grease
into the bearing. Or you can do it by hand, but you may want to wear rubber
gloves. Oh and use NGLI #2 or better high temp. grease.
