I had the same problem on my R/T. Don't throw them out. I took mine off
last night and cut about 1+ inches off the bottom and they are fine.
Use one flap as a guide for the other and mark a cut line about 1/4"
below the ram's snout. Cut with a pair of tin snips and taper the ends
about 30 degrees on the rounded sides. Smooth out with sand paper and
reinstall. They don't drag anymore and no one will know the difference
but you. Mine are painted with a good flex paint. No problem with
chipping or pealing. Need to get new push lock pins because I had to cut
the old ones off.
