I'm driving at a flat speed, say 55, and engine is just humming at a
steady rpm...then out of no where, this loud whirring starts to build
up, and hangs around for a minute or two and then dies off. My guess
is that the clutch in the fan is kicking on, but at 2000 rpm, shouldnt
the clutch in the fan be 100% loose? Anyone else hear this on their
truck? I'm thinking of removing the fan and driving it just to prove
that it is the culprit...
any help is appreciated!!!!!
