No doubt - had a '84 Z28 that I used to baby quite a bit. The only
thing that would get glass just right was water and vinegar. The
only other cleaning brew that I would use was a gallon bucket
full of water with about a cup of ammonia and a quarter cup
of laundry detergent (clorox with color safe bleach). Even
then, I only broke that out when the bugs were all over the
windshield - if I had just washed the car, v&w worked fine.
All the other cleaners (windex etc.) aren't worth the money.
