Yep, got those skid plates on as an option. I like looking under the truck,
to see the important pieces protected.

What Norah decided not to mention is that she lost her hitch plug because it
fell out once, another person in the group found it and handed it back to
me, so I put it right back in the hitch. No idea where it went after that
(DOH!)

Another thing that you might want to think about if you're going to be doing
much off-highway travel are skid plates if you don't already have them.
They might seem kinda pricey at first, but they're much cheaper than getting
towed to a mechanic and having the transfer case replaced. This was what
would have happened to us on our first trip in the '98 without the skid
plate. Cheapest insurance there is, IMHO.
