Battery and Engine Idle

Truck: '95 Club Cab Sport V6 5Speed
Mods: no cat, dynomax race magnum muffler, 180 Thermostat, mobil I oil
and filter, champion truck plugs, K&N dropin.

Well, My Mopar Battery (bought at dealer in June '97) died today. Could
not believe it as it is a 5 year battery, and Mopar, and Heavy Duty. It
was working perfectly at Lunch, but 3 hours later it was dead dead dead.
Very dead. Nothing had been left on. I don't understand why it just died
all of the sudden.

In other news, I don't think my truck idles at a fast enough speed. Does
anyone have any input as to at what RPM a 95 3.9L is supposed to idle?
How would I adjust this?

When coming stopping and allowing the engine to slow down, then pushing
in the clutch, when the clutch disengages, the engine drops down to
about 100 RPM's. I've had it cut off even a few times. Any idea what the
problem could be?

Thanks,
        Chad Clifton
