I had a sticky for a while. Beleive it or not, I ran half a quart of
Tranny fluid in the engine oil and it hasn't happened since. My mechanic
told me that Tranny Fluid has a detergent-like quality and will clean off
the crap on your moving parts. It's not a miracle worker, but it worked
for me. It burns out too, so your truck will be stinky for at least an
oil change or two.
