I have a set of 17 x 8's all the way around. The wheels are made by
centerline. They do not rub on the calipers, or the back of the wheel
wells.
I had a set of 15 x 8's and the stuck out about an inch from the
fender.
The 17 x 8's (positive) tuck under the wheel well and do not rub
anywhere.

-Ah, but you have a '97+ while he has a pre-'97. Two different
beasts. What fits yours wont fit his and vice versa.
