Insurance (Was Towing Advice)

My Insurance company wanted $280 more every 6 months for a 4x4. The damn
policy was only $450 every six to begin with. So a 4x4 was out of the
question... <sigh> I've yet to have an accident that was my fault too... I
had over 10 years of accident free driving until I got rear ended...

Sure, 3.92 would be the best overall, but at least I
have the option of the low range for boat launching (not necessarily
for traction). Insurance-- Can you believe that the insurance on the
4x4 was LESS than for the RT!?!?! I also compared the SLT+ 4x2, and
the 4x4 was still less. Seems my insurance company looks at 9+ years
of driving experience with little or no claims. Apparently the 4x4 has
a better crash rating & survivability than the 4x2.
