I'm paying $1,300 a year for my '99 R/T. I am 22 with zero points living
outside Detroit (which hurts me)

Just to give you a comparison.. I was paying the exact SAME for my 1991 Ford

Thunderbird with a V6!

I also was quoted about $2,500 a year for a '99 Mustang GT hardtop...
I nearly had a Mustang on order until I found out the insurance costs... I
AM
a Ford employee, so I figured I should buy Ford's only fast car.. but..
after
almost getting stuck by insurance company, I said screw company loyalty.. if

they want to pay me an extra $1,200 a year to off-set the insurance..
great..
I would do it.
