reverse uses the same gear, there is a reverse idler gear that is engaged
with the output shaft that makes the tranny reverse on the output shaft...
I use second to clear the synchros, and when was the last time you changed
your gear oil? use some synthetic and some of that posi lube in it too..it
will quiet it down a lot..
i use it in my 5speed too...
