You gotta at least try this. If you are on a clean paved track (no dust
kicked up), try running bald. Take your air intake off and let her free
breathe from the TB. I think the Gen II's are somewhat restricted from the
small air intake that bolts up to the TB.
Also, keep it in drive and KEEP YOUR FOOT DOWN! No matter what, keep it down.
 You have good R/T's so this should help. Dont get psyched...I have. I have
looked down and seen how fast I was going and almost instinctively let off
the gas, only to shift into third too soon. Plus you need to eliminate
weight, Take that tonneau cover off and run w/o your tailgate. See if that
makes a difference.

Just remember...consistencey counts in bracket racing. Knowing what your
vehicle has and how to control it is the object. Having more HP can actually
hurt ya there. I know you are good at the brackets, if you want good 1/4's
you need HP.
Try running bald. And reset your computer before your first run. Your second
run will be faster.
