Just had a similar incident on mine. I installed a set of underdrive pulleys
earlier this summer and found out that the stock battery was not real happy
about it. It got to a point that when I would idle for any length of time,
the check gauges light came on. Finally, it would not idle at all. Popped an
Optima Red in and have not looked back since. I would check the battery
right away.
Good luck,
Randy

Ok this afternoon I walked outside climbed in my Dak and went to go crank it
up and low and behold it would turn over but not idle. I have a 98 v6 auto.
Well I borrowed my parental units Accord (and that little sucker scoots)
came back from what I had to do and it turns over after a little argument
and idles. When I first put the key in and turn it the clock was flashing
and after a couple of attempted starts and use the gas to egg into turning
all the way over the Check Gages light popped on. Any ideas on what the hell
this could be?
