I don't understand the Extended Cab issue: I installed a 2" Body Lift on my
1997 Dakota SLT (ClubCab). (I even have the part number on my site...Fits
perfect.)

Subject: DML: Need 2" body lift for Gen II Dak! Help!

AAAAARRGHHHH!!!
I just called JC Whitney to order a 2" body lift for my Gen II ext. cab
(first step to install before doing the 4" Trailmaster Suspension lift so I
can fit 33's)
and they told me that the 2" Body lift is not available for extended cabs,
only regular. He then told me the company (Performance Accessories) is
developing a 2" lift for extended Daks, but probably wouldn't be available
until early next year. He wasn't sure if it was for Gen II, Gen III, or
both.

So then I asked why a regular cab 2" lift wouldn't work for an ext.
cab....he
wasn't sure if it needed extra spacers or hardware or what...

Anyone done a 2" lift on a ext cab? Any ideas or alternate vendors? Help! I
don't want to go to the Trailmaster 3" BL, I think that would be too
much....!
