the cop was having a bad day and possibly took it out on you
but these guys are doing there job, sometimes just being nice can change the
whole outcome, but if you feel you were being harrased, by all means nail his
ass..
but my dad has been a cop for almost 30 years and he never beat up someone
who was nice to him...
