Amsoil for NV3500 trannys

Went to Vans today to get some Amsoil for my engine and remembered what
someone was saying about the tranny fluid being a GL3, well Amsoil has a
75W90 gear oil that says is for use in applaications requiring GL2-GL5.
Asked about sulphur content and got no definet answers. This is the same
oil that I have in the rear-end, and it did make a noticeable
improvement. Sound good?
