You can probably make it fit with a little fiddling (cutting or bending)
but I think Gibson doesn't recommend as a true "bolt-on" like their other
systems discontinued it until the get it absolutely right. I bought the 3"
single aluminized. I am impressed at the thickness of the steel and the
quality of the bends. I personally don't see the need to spend the extra
money on stainless.

Subject: DML: Gibson Exhaust Questions
Once again, I am new to this ML, so please bear with me. I have heard from
some people on this list that a split Gibson Exhaust will work with a 4x4
Extended cab V8 99. I have also gone to several dealer websties, who have
said the same.. Now on to my questions.
1. Does anyone else have the same sort of truck as me, and does this
exhaust work on it?
2. How difficult is it to install the gibson exhaust? Does it just bolt
right on? Where does it bolt on?
3. What sort of a price is good? www.coolswheels.com has it for $275 with
free shipping (AlumiNized)
4. Is the stainless really worth it? How much longer will it last...
I appreciate you input,
Jeff
