Thats a lot more power than what I.m making now! Strictly bolt-ons at this
point! The last guy that said anything was telling me that his company
wouldn't even sell me a supercharger because of the tranny! Said DC
wouldn't honor the warranty on the 44RE but would if I had the 46RE! The
guy before that runs a Tranny shop (go figure) and says they see lots of the
44REs, as far as he was concerned, he thought it was one of DC's worst!

Anyway, have you beefed yours up at all? Shift improver? ETC?

That really surprises me. My Dak is about 300 lb-ft torque and 230 HP
at the rear wheels with the present mods. I have had no problems from
it even with a fair amount of track use. I'm just going to add a tranny
cooler and synthetic oil.
