1/4 Goals REACHED!

Today, a bunch of guys (mainly members of the MML) rented
St. Thomas Dragway, south of London, Ontario for the day.

Temperature was 50-55F and humidity was 45-48% with a
crosswind of 15-20 mph.

My goals for the 1/4 have been 14.9x sec. and 90+ mph.

My previous p.b. was 15.234 sec and 89.81 mph.

I switched to 26" drag radials (235/60R15) giving an effective
gear ratio of about 3.80:1 from 28" drag radials (27560R15)
which gave an EFR of about 3.50:1. This change made
the package of mods that I have done complete.

My personal best was a 14.934 sec. and a 90.78 mph. I also had
two other runs in the 14's (14.974 and 14.946).

To say that it was worth the 2-hour drive (1-way) and $50 CDN for
running from 10 a.m. until you drop, would be an understatement!

Now I can retire ... except that I'm already retired.
