** Body Lift **
Advantage: Allows for bigger tires and more fender clearance (No suspension
clearance), inexpensive, can be done with hand tools.

Disadvantage: Increased body sway, possible airbag issues, no changes in
suspension articulation. (Minor fabrication sometimes required)

** Suspension Lift **
Advantage: Allows for bigger tires but not much more fender clearance,
Better offroad suspension articulation (increased travel), designed for the
specific vehicle, vehicle sway is compensated for with springs, bushings,
and swaybars (application specific).

Disadvantage: Increased Vehicle sway, expensive ($1000 - $1500 average),
some custom fabrication required (cutting and/or welding), Power Tools
recommended but not required.

Hope that helps.

(If I missed anything, feel free to add to the list)

Subject: DML: Body lift vs. Suspension lift.

Other than cost, what would the advantages of a body lift be over that of a
suspension lift kit? Drawbacks?
