I got the same answer form Crower...but the box itself (and the
instructions) both reference SB Chevy as well. Good to know the info
though...

Thanks,

Bernd

Bernd,

I don't think the Crower rockers are SB Chevy rockers. I have a set of Crane
Gold SB Chevy rockers and the Crane set for the Magnums installed on my 95.
The rockers are the same and I did use a set of shorter pushrods on the 95.
Crower did tell me that the Magnum rockers are not Chevy rockers. I just
received my 1.7's from Crower and the pushrod seat in the rocker is higher
in the body than the Gold rockers that I have. Crower also calls for a
factory length pushrod for the Magnum install. What's most important is that
the tip of the rocker centers on the tip of the valve throughout the full
movement of the rocker arm. When I put my 95 back together, I tried the
factory on both an intake and exhaust valve, when the valves were at full
open, the tip of the rocker was almost off of the tip of the valve. I
switched to the shorter pushrods and resolved the problem.......
