Ok...one question here:
In Overdrive, at what RPMs does it ping when you're trying to accelerate?
Is the pinging there when COLD?  Or just when it's at normal temperature?
Most Non-Knock Sensor cars will ping if you try to accelerate in a high gear
(4th or 5th) and at low RPM's (1200-1500).  The tranny (if automatic) should
shift to a lower gear to allow better acceleration.  If it's a manual,
obviously you'd have to downshift.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone done a compression check on ALL cylinders
on their Dak?  What are the readings?  What's the actual compression ratio
(converted from PSI) that you're getting?
