Where no QuickD has gone before...

Well, I shoed my brother the QuickD website tonight while asking him if
he'd be interested in helping me out with installing it, and he wants
one too. Problem is, he has a 94 Jimmy with the 4.3L Vortec. Should he
build one himself, or has anyone heard of committing that blasphemous
act (putting the QuickD on a GMC)?

On a related note, is the stock 318 air filter box secured only by the 2
brackets I found today, one on the front and one on the fender side?

All hope is not lost for my family though, my parents are going out
Durango shopping Sunday. They need a new tow vehicle and it has better
tow ratings than the Chebby Tahoe. But what about stability? My father
has enough trouble keeping his Chebby full-size van on the road with a
27-foot travel trailer (it's an operator headspace issue, not the
van/trailer), and the Durango has a shorter whelbase.
