Hey Gang, talked with the CompCam guys today and they told me that the
adjusting nuts DO come with the rocker arms. I also asked them about what
year of Chevy's this kit came from. Mid 70's when they went to roller
rockers? They said this was a made up kit and the ONLY thing that came off a
Chevy was the rocker arms and rocker studs and nuts. The guide plates came
from Oldsmobile and pushrods are a Ford product.. Doesn't this smell like
we're turning into AMC?? I also got prices rockers and nuts are:$284.78
                                 studs: $66.50
                      guide plates: $18.43
                          pushrods: $93.03
The guy I talked to said that they didn't make a kit--just these individual
piece parts and made a kit out of them. total for all
parts is $462.74 - - MAYBE A GROUP BUY. I forgot to ask what ratio these
rockers give- - probably only stock 1.6 is my guess and it wasn't mentioned
whether they were made out of aluminum or steel.
