Yuppers. It also helps the "warm" operating performance.
As for resetting the computer, all you have to do it remove the NEG
terminal, turn the key to the START position and hold it for about 15
seconds, turn the key OFF and reconnect the battery terminal. (You might
have to reset your radio as well.)
There's been no adverse effects from this mod (i've had it relocated for
about 3 months now) but the mileage will go down slightly (depending on your
foot).

So, if I think about this,(under normal circumstances) on a cold
morning when I first start the truck up, the computer detects colder air
and automatically sends more fuel into the mixture. The same as applying
a choke on a carb. So what I'm doing is "fooling" the computer into
thinking the air in the manifold is colder than it actually is,
therefore dumping more go juice into the engine. Pretty cool trick, but
does this have any effect the longevity of the fuel components?(i/e
injectors, pump,TBI?) Also, do I reset the computer by disconnecting the
battery for about 1hr and reconnecting?
