Actually the rally cars are very close to what you can buy (at least in
Europe). And the WRC (World Rally Car) class, the cars are all AWD (all
wheel drive).
The engines are tweaked quite a bit--like 450 hp. But in Japan you can get
basically the same car with around 300 hp. But you actually get a back seat
and a radio. :)
