Mine had the same problem. The dealer replaced BOTH tie rods which cured
the problem. Apparently, the people on the production line(s) were
stripping the adjuster nuts on the tie-rods and they couldn't be tightened
properly to hold their settings. ('97 Dakota 2WD)
