A Good Day to End the Track Season

I went to Cayuga Dragway Park for closing day for domestics
today and, although redlighting and freezing (heavy left to
right crosswind in the low 40F), I set PBs in the 60',
1/8 et and 1/4 et ... even got to edge out a '99 360 SC shortbed
RAM in a head-to-head t&t match while backing off twice on
a sticking 2nd gear (.517 RT to his .739 RT).

On April 3, I started the track season with a 16.895 and,
after much money/time/t&t, finished with a 14.917.

Also got to meet up with Ed and his lovely bride, Lisa, of one
year for the last time before the millenium. Congrats, Ed,
on smashing into the 16s!

Message 63 since Oct. 23/99.

PB 60': 2.077 PB 1/8: 9.445 @ 72.41 PB 1/4: 14.917 @ 89.28
