I think it's a matter of personal preference mostly, I used to run
Splitfires, then bosch, champion, but was sold on Copper Autolites after
pickin up 4hp to the wheels w/ them. As for the down sides, none save for
maybe changing them more often than a set of platinum plugs. I change plugs
every 3 or 4 months anyhow, so I'm not gonna waste money on platinum plugs
that are designed to last 100k miles.
