and then EPA approval. Then there was a web site announcement
that approvals were granted and '97 computers would be the
first ones released. Instead, they released 2 versions for
the '98s (CA and rest of States) which required dealers to
flash in the truck's information (VIN, etc.) before they would
work. The '97 computer does not have the capability to have this
information flashed in. That's why I think it will never see
the light of day or, at least, in my lifetime.

No matter who modified it, I'm sure you will be pleased with the
throttle body.
