i wouldnt worry about it my gauge shows 14 v on the dot . As long as the
battery recharged you should be ok. I know if you run a battery down to dead
sometimes theyll get a charge for a few days and than die or sometimes they
dont even hold a charge. I used to use optimas but for a regular battery id
go for interstate
