Exhaust valves. I'm sure the combustion chamber has something to do with

Really why ? Both valves are long closed by the time the plug fires on
the compression stroke..If you know where the larger pocket of the
combustion
chamber is ,thats where I'd point the open side of the ingnition tip of the
plug..
Just my thoughts, who's had thier heads off, where would you think
most of the charge is ???

I dont know the exact reason why but i was told the intake valve is where
the air fuel charge comes in so i assume the reason is to give he spark a
unobstructed way to the area of the fuel air charge will be most condensed.
At least thats what i thought it was
