I did get the total weight (4350#) with all 4 wheels on the scales. I
then pulled forward so just the rear wheels were on the scales.(1750#),
then I backed up, so just the front wheels were on it.(2600#). I then
did the same thing, but I didn't get out of the truck. The total went up
250#(4600#), the rear went up 100#(1850#), the front went up 150#(2750#)
(more weight in the front, just like me). To answer your question, IMO,
yes. Both times, the addition of front and rear weights equals the total
weight. I did it that way, because I had the same question, and I also
wanted to know the front to rear weight bias. It works out to 60/40
front.
