I forgot to mention this in my other post about the article
in MPN. The article said that they use "seasoned" engine blocks
for the crate motors and short blocks. I took this to mean that
they are used blocks. They say that an engine is better after
its first rebuild because the block is now "stress relieved".
They say a new block can be stress relieved, but thats costly,
so what they do is to use a "seasoned" block and bore it .020
over, which is the same thing.
Is this true, or are they just trying to sell us a story?
