I would expect that you need a helmet, as Carlsbad Raceway requires them,
and they follow NHRA rules for such things. At Firebird Raceway, they
require a helmet if you are quicker than 14.00....
I've got one helmet, and my wife has one too (we will bring both, but
she says "I'm not drag racing"), so it looks like I will be running
both trucks by myself.
We plan on getting up there around 3:30 pm tomorrow.
