Mine used to!! Something is definitely not right! I'll check the IAT
tonight if I can! I am ussuming that the sensor is threaded and doesn't
require any sealer when I go to put it back in!

TIA

Kurt

Here's one for you guys! My 97 5.2L doesn't want to start in the cold
anymore! It takes three or four tries to get it to turn over and then if I
don't keep feeding it gas it dies! (Reminiscent of the days when vehicles
had chokes!) Once the temp guage moves off of cold, the truck runs and
drives great! Oh yeah, outside temp has been right around 25-30 degrees
farenheit and expected to get much colder! Any suggestions?<<<

The first thing that popped into my mind was the IAT sensor, if it is not
reading the ambient air temperature properly, it may be giving your computer

bad signals, possibly causing a too-lean condition for the actual temp. I
guess I'm fortunate, my Dak fires up almost instantly, no matter how cold
(down around the zero mark on some mornings). That's one of the things I
love about it, just hit the key, and VAVOOM, she fires right up.
