RE: power sliding rear window

Hey, I missed this conversation; are we talking the power sliders that go
side to side, or something else? The reason I'm asking is this: A few years
back I saw an aftermarket kit that makes power sliders that drop down into
the body panel (like the old tailgate windows on the big station wagons from
the late '70's to early '80's, and I think the current Honda Del Sol coupe
has one).
I have since been unable to find this product, and was wondering if anyone
else out there has seen or heard of this. They were so great on the wagons
(my family had an '83 Crown Vic that had one), why don't they use them on
pickups instead of those cheap manual sliders? Just curious....

I was looking at one while waiting for my alarm install

Made by C.R. Lawrence Co. Inc. - The Powr Slider [no "e" in power]

here is a site that sells/installs them:

http://www.vancouverglass.com/truck.html

I haven't found a website for the manufacturer

A power slider is definitely on my short list - needs to be a factory option
