I would be interested in doing this myself. What all sorts of components
are involved in this overhead console and what kinda modifications would
hafta be made to the headliner? I'm all about extra cubby-holes but I
havent really seen an aftermarket overhead console that looks "factory" or
even close. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread to see where
it goes.

I am interested in installing the mini-overhead console from a Y2K model
onto my 98. The mini-console is the one without the computer module. It
just has the sunglass compartment, garage door opener compartment, and the
map lights. The components for this from the dealer comes out to about
$95.00. I was wondering if anyone has done this, is interested in doing
this, or if there is another alternative to doing this. I have looked at
the Shelf-It unit that runs across the upper portion of the windshield but
decided against it because being a tall driver it would interfere with my
view.

Thanks,
Ken
