Ok...4 months and counting with my 80/100W bulbs (no upgraded wiring). High
Beams being used as well.

I think stock is 55/80. Anyways, I wouldn't put a 80w bulb in there unless
you upgrade the wiring. it can be done with a 12v automotive relay, about 1
hour of time, a couple butt connectors, 10 gauge wiring (for best results)
and some electrical tape.
