Has anyone seen the ram air box buildup in HOT ROD magazine? I was in the
library today and happened to have a lot of free time so I picked up HOT ROD
magazine and on the cover it said something like "Ram Air that thing" or
something... Blah. there goes my memory.
Anyways. basically. you get a 10/14" air cleaner, then you buy 1 or 2 air
condition vents that have 4" round inlet then a square opening. you screw
the square opening to the air cleaner then on the outside of it. you bend
alum or some kinda metal and wrap it around. it looked just like a "Ram air
box" that costs 100 bucks thru www.ramairbox.com or something. check that
magazine out if you are thinking of ram air. I sure am.
