Here is an update. I drove my truck to town today and about 4 times the
engine hesitated just like if you turned off the key. I stopped at the
post office and had a terrible time getting it started. It stalled out
and went about one tenth of a mile and cut off. It would start, but
wouldn't keep running. It just died out. So, I took off the Accel coil
(again) and put in the stock coil. The truck started and I was able to
make it home. I have a new NAPA distributor cap and rotor to install.
I'll keep you posted on the saga of my truck. Also, I'll keep an eye on
the computer.
Where did the TSB say to route the plug wires? Or, where can I get a
copy of this TSB?
