Just most of the air out of the tires before you go, and the tires should be
okay-- Mars has a thin atmosphere, but it does have an atmosphere.

Mars' gravity is very close to Earth's, a Dakota would hold up just fine.
Unfortunately, if you think you've got traction problems now with your
Dakota, just wait 'til you're on Mars with no pavement. :) Better make it a
4x4 Dakota.

The trouble would be that it wouldn't run very well-- Very little oxygen in
Mars' atmosphere. The Martians would, however, be astounded by such a
technological marvel. :)
