A couple of weeks ago, I started the truck and heard something like marbles
rattling around in a coffee can. Crawled under the truck and the sound was
noisiest at the cat. Later on in the day after the truck cooled off, I went
under the truck with a rubber mallet. Tapped around the exhaust system and
at the cat I heard the rattle when tapped.. Called DC to see what sort of
emissions warranty I have(8/80). Took it to the dealership, the tech checked
it out, and they confirmed it. Replaced the whole system. Mine would quiet
down a little bit after it warmed up(or a good run down the highway).
