Come on Flip, you can do it! :-) Besides they might rust if you put 'em on
the hood and you don't want that...

Seriously though, if I could do this anybody can. A little trick I used was to
keep the stock center studs in place to act as "hangers" to position the
headers properly. I had to cut down the end of the studs a bit so they
wouldn't hit the pipes. They are cumbersome to position so an extra pair of
hands are helpful... If you were in Portland, ME I might be able to help but
Portland, OR is a little out of my range. ;-)

Well, I was very happy to recieve my headers just before Christmas. They sure a
re pretty. I read the installation instructions though, and I am intimidated. I
don't think I'm competent enough to put these on. Maybe I should just bolt th
em onto the hood. They're real pretty. Why don't any of you mechanically knowl
edgeable guys live here in Portland, so you could help me? You really should pl
an things better.
