My last car was a Nissan 240SX with a 13 gallon gas tank. When I got this
truck with it's 22 gallon tank and ran it down to about 1/2 and gave it gas
or stopped a little suddenly I would hear that gas smack around in the tank.
Scared the $hit out of me every time until I got used to it. Maybe? or no?

<< Just to let everyone know who gave me some suggestions as to what might be
making this loud ass clunking noise on the floorboards, I found nothing
wrong. Rob suggested that I look at the tranny mount; everything is in great
shape here. Jason suggested looking at the universal joints for play/slack,
they are fine also. Frank said to check out the motor mounts, visual
inspections showed nothign was wrong and I did the engine rev test also,
nothing here either. So this clunk hasnt happened since Friday the 24th, and
only did it that day. Maybe my Dak was just mad, who knows. Thanks alot to
all who provided me with suggestions to check, I appreciate it all.
