The '92 auto isn't the current bodystyle though, its the old "boxy"
bodystyle; does that make a difference? The tag under the hood says its
an A518, and I'm pretty sure its original as the dealer said its never
been in for any major service. If I get the '92, I'll probably get the
48K/4 year warranty. If worse comes to worse, what does a replacement
A518 cost?
On a related note, does anyone know the tow rating of a '92 Ram with a
318, auto tranny, and a 3.55 rear? (its got the HD service group) The
dealer thought it would be about the same as the current Rams, or around
7800lbs. I photocopied that info from one of Jason Bleazard's brochures
once but of course, I can't find it now. :-P
