According to the parts book, you can't have both the tow hooks and the brush
guard. Is this true?
Both parts mentioned that it can't be fitted if the other is installed. I
guess I want the brush guard more than the hooks, but for this much money I
should get what I want -- both.

To answer your question though, no drilling was required to install mine.
Some
cutting of the valance is called for by the instructions, but I was able to
install mine without cutting anything.
