Well I'll be, they did improve on the front axle after all (will Ma Mopar ever
forgive me for doubting her ;-). Thanks for the info. Currie. Still don't
know what they did, though.

Mine's a 2000 4X4 and my sticker says "DJD Front Axle - 3600#, C205"
