I need new tires for my 2WD 95 Dakota SLT CC. Original tires P215/75/15's
Goodyear Invictas, worst tire I ever owned. Current tires P235/70/15's
Dunlop Qualifier GT, overall a good tire. I still have the factory 15"x6"
wheels. I tow a 5th wheel trailer and I am looking for a all season
performance tire that has a good load rating (i.e. designed to work and
play) I feel that the car tires just are not up to the task. Anyone have
any recomendations on brand, model, size, etc. I would like new wheels as
well but probaly not in the budget. Also do the 97+ 15"x8" factory split
spoke wheels fit on my truck, I know they are the same bolt patern but what
about back spacing. I know the 95 4WD Dakotas came with P235/75/15's would
this taller tire fit on a 2WD. This tire also would change my gear ratio and
increase my side wall height, but if I went to a larger wheel and a
different aspect ratio the side wall height could be comensated for and I
have be debating about changing to 3.90 gears from my current 3.55's. The
people I have talked to at the local tire stores can't seam to help they
keep saying there books recomend a 215/75/15, HELP.
