When I got my new tires put on, they had to break off one of the
wheel studs because it was crossthreaded (tires previously rotated at
the dealership). So the next time I was in for maintenance, I just
told the dealership that, and that they were putting in a new one
under warrantee. I'm not letting them mess with my wheels anymore
though. Tire shop can do it- they seem to know what they're doing.
